We will be flushing the fire hydrants next week, Tuesday through Thursday. While we are doing this, you could possible notice a loss in water pressure and even some "yellowing" of the water. This is normal and if you happen to get the discoloration, the only remedy is to keep flushing the lines. Thank you

We just received word that the work up at the substation needs more work. What that means is that we will run the generators again and you will only see a disruption of power when we return to regular power. Should be around 1 pm. This is for Thursday October, 16th. Also if everybody would limit their power usage, that would help us out as well. Thank you
We are starting to run the street sweeper again. If you could please move any cars or trailers off the streets for so we can get as much picked up as possible would be appreciated. We will be sweeping as long as there are leaves falling! Thank you

We aren't sure what this is but it looks like some grave of some sort that is out at DePorter Lake. Even if it is a pet grave, we can't have it there. If you know what this is or know who put it there, could you contact the Town so we can get this figured out. Thank you
There will be a scheduled power outage on October 6th. We will be running the Town's generators as this will be an all day outage. There is maintenance being performed out at the substation. This is WAPA who needs to do service on their equipment.
Depends on the load, the Town may not have the capacity to power the entire town at one time. We may have to do rolling blackouts. We will know more when the day approaches and we will keep the public up to date. Thank you

The Town Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, August 4th has been rescheduled for Monday, August 11th at 7pm.
We are doing our annual sewer jetting starting today. This will affect 2nd, 3rd and 4th alleys on the west side of Cedar Street. If you have a sewer smell in your house, you will need to run water down any/all drains in your house. Thank you

Just got a call from the company doing seal coat that was scheduled to take place tomorrow. Unfortunately, they are running behind on other projects and will not be here until next Monday, July 21st.
Reminder that this Friday, July 18th, is when we are doing the seal coat for 3rd Street. We have started sweeping the street so please move all vehicles off the street to help us out. This seal coat will take longer to dry so please be patient with us. It could take anywhere from 2-4 hrs depending on the weather. Thank you!
